Arif Al Mamun is the Head of Research working in the Governance, Climate Change, and maternal and neonatal child health projects at BBC Media Action.
Arif is interested in a range of issues related to governance, climate change and media in the developing world. At present he is managing a large research team in Bangladesh office and over viewing several projects, aims to make people better cope with future crisis with a focus on extreme weather events, enable people to participate in public dialogue and hold government to account. Arif has the expertise of both quantitative and qualitative techniques in his research and has a special interest in studies that have media implications in climate change and governance.
Arif is Bangladeshi. He received MBA degree from University of Dhaka and completed bachelor degree in Statistics from the same university.
