Thaysa Costa do Nascimento

Thaysa Costa do Nascimento is a PhD student in Business Administration at COPPEAD-UFRJ Brazil where she also works as a researcher at the Center for Consumer Studies at COPPEAD and has dedicated herself to the study of Consumer Behavior, participating in projects in partnership with companies such as: Fiat, L’Oréal and Coca-Cola. Her expertise is focused on understanding the market for digital influencers, their crisis episodes and brand relationships.
She is also a Professor at ALUMNI COPPEAD in the Consumer Insights & UX course in the Consumer Trends discipline. She coordinates and is also a Professor of the Influence Marketing course at the same institution.
Thaysa is one of the organizers of the Workshop of the community of researchers and professors of culture and consumption in Brazil. Within the area of culture and consumption, she has dedicated herself to studying digital influencers in Brazil, having authored chapters of books and articles on the topic showing, for example, the role of YouTube as a platform for socio-economic projection in Brazil (2020) and the forms of relationship between brands and influencers (2020).
